Our Opinion:-

Outdoor Revolution has redesigned most of the Cayman range but have kept the old-style Cayman as the Cayman Classic.

Featuring a sewn in groundsheet, Fibreglass Poles and ultra-lightweight 120HDE polyester Flysheet Fibreglass framed Dome Style tents/awnings like the Cayman are generally stronger than Tunnel Style tents/awnings due to the cross over pole configuration. We find Outdoor Revolutions fibreglass poles exceptionally reliable in use and the advantage of fibreglass poles is the availability and ease of replacement if they become damaged. 
Outdoor Revolution have always been good at ensuring good ventilation in their awnings to help reduce condensation. But please remember you will always experience condensation in any Polyester Awning. Remember to keep all the vents open and clear, ventilate the awning whenever possible especially first thing in the morning. There is also the option of adding a 2-berth inner tent.

Lots of windows to give the awning a light and airy feel. All windows featuring toggle up blinds for privacy. The left side door panel can be erected on optional canopy poles to make a sun canopy.

 The best selling Cayman Classic pole and sleeve drive-away awning remains one of our most famed campervan & motorhome awnings. With just 2 fibreglass poles it is both quick and simple to pitch, and structurally very stable. Available in two ergonomic cowl height options to accommodate almost all vehicles with an awning channel height from 180cm to 290cm, this compact and lightweight awning is a great addition to any touring vehicle. There are large access on the front and side of the awning as well as an entry door in the cowel to allow access to the vehicle with the need to come through the awning. The Cayman Classic comes complete with a wealth of features including a ‘fold-flat’ sewn-in groundsheet, mesh ventilation, clips to attach an optional 2 berth bedroom inner tent, and Velcro fixings for our LED lighting system. This model has been produced from a premium ultra-lightweight 120HDE fabric weave, which has been specifically engineered to deliver lightweight, compact and visually contemporary products that pack away neatly into the inclusive carry bag, making it perfect where weight or space limitations are of key consideration. This material incorporates a 3,000mm Hydrostatic Head and employs fully taped seams throughout, meaning it is exceptionally waterproof and rain will simply bead onto the surface, before rolling off. The sleek design lines & classic tri colour livery will coordinate & complement any campervan or motorhome.

A Large PVC window allows for ample natural light during the day, this features an integral toggle-in curtain which can be rolled-back during the day or closed for complete privacy at night. Ventilation Points in the roof and cowl door aid in reducing condensation by optimising airflow around the awning. Full Roll-Back doors on the front and side of the awning offer a great option to use the awning as a sun shade in fair weather.

The Cayman Classic comes complete with a fully sewn-in PE groundsheet, steel ground pegs, reflective guylines, and a repair kit. There are mains cable access points, plus Velcro fixings for our optional LED lighting systems.
