 Our Opinion: -

A long awaited Polycotton version of Outdoor Revolutions bestselling Movelite T4. A very popular awning due to being one of the few Polycotton awnings on the market.

Designed to compete with Vango’s Galli driveaway awning, who have also this year produced a Polycotton version of the Galli, we feel that Movelite T4 has advantages in having more doors and window, as well as some other Unique Outdoor Revolution features. It is therefore worth comparing both awnings before making your choice.

A unique feature of the Movelite T4TC PC is the ability to add a matching Annexe to the rear, giving a 2-berth inner to accommodate guests without loosing living space. The Annexe is an optional addition.

Incorporating Outdoor Revolutions Unique Intelligent frame relief valve. This is a pressure relief valve fitted into the main air beams. Unlike other makes where the pressure relief valve is incorporated onto the pump, with Outdoor Revolution the Pressure relief valve is built into the Air tube. You cannot over inflate the tubes and if the Pressure increases in the tube, the valve will automatically vent air. This prevents the chance of the tubes rupturing due to over inflation.

The Big feature is the Polycotton fabric which gives so many advantages in terms of Reduced condensation, Being a warmer environment in the awning during the night and cooler during the day. Polycotton is also a much quieter fabric so you do not get the crisp packet rustling noise of a Polyester fabric. It really does give a much better camper experience.

Another new Feature Outdoor Revolution are calling Pheonix Mesh. This type of mesh is claimed to self-repair, preventing the big problem of snagging normally associated with mesh windows and doors.

 We like the straight front door and porch area, to give protection during poor weather and a sheltered area when the sun is shining. With lots of exclusive Outdoor Revolution features and a good quality fabric, the Movelite T4 has a camp-site friendly side-on design, with the option of a 2 berth or 4 berth bedroom it is sure to become a very popular driveaway-awning, especially since Outdoor Revolution are now making a Lowline version which gives better fit to lower van-based conversions like the most popular VW Transporters

The familiar footprint of the top-selling Movelite T4 has now been recreated in our exquisite breathable Polycotton Fabric, perfect for hotter climates and built to withstand extended amounts of UV exposure whilst being incredibly waterproof.

Available to suit vehicles with an awning rail height of up to 220cm, and with all the premium features you would expect from our high-end Movelite Range, this awning has the unique feature of a back door which allows for the connection of an optional zip-on bedroom annex. The Polycotton Flysheet is exquisite, allowing breathability and insulation in equal parts, dependent on the weather conditions; the fabric will contract for maximum heat retention when cold, whilst in warm weather, the material will ‘breathe’ to help maintain a more comfortable internal atmosphere. There are even acoustic benefits of using this heavy-duty canvas material, which maintains a calmer internal ambiance within the awning, especially in the wind. Featuring all the premium features that you would expect from our flagship drive-away awning, this modern classic is a fantastic option for longer term touring excursions in hotter climates.

Expansive tinted anti-glare windows grant a panoramic vista of the surrounding environment and protect against any harmful UV rays, whilst increasing privacy and illuminating the awning interior during daytime hours; these are accompanied by zip-in curtains, which can be zipped fully back, or zipped completely in for additional privacy at night. The extra-deep rear cowl found on this model utilises a tapered, profile cut side, ensuring a weather tight fit, featuring waterproof zips and ventilation (with zip down draft covers) on each side. A sewn-in groundsheet increases convenience when pitching, whilst keeping bugs out and preventing water ingression to the interior. The addition of twin piping (6mm x 4mm) ensures compatibility across the vast majority of awing rail connections. We have implemented Phoenix Mesh fly screen panels in the side door to optimise airflow and keep insects at bay; an assisted healing smart material with the structurally incorporated ability to repair snag damage, typically caused by consistent usage. Simply manipulated, the mesh will then return to its original form. The integral front porch creates a convenient canopy area, where you can relax outdoors, while sheltered from the elements.

The Movelite T4E PC comes complete with a fully sewn-in PE groundsheet, storm straps, steel ground pegs, reflective guylines, a repair kit, and a double-action hand pump. There are mains cable access points, plus Velcro fixings for our optional LED lighting systems. A Stone Protection Footprint Groundsheet, a hardwearing Duratread Carpet, a Two & Four Berth Inner Tent, and of course a Bedroom Annex, Porch Door, and Sun Canopy are also available for purchase, alongside an array of other convenient accessories.
