Outwell introduce the Active Range of campervan awnings specifically designed around the VW Transporter.

The Active Range is designed to have a modern lifestyle look. They are designed to have a small pack size and be quick and easy to pitch for the Campervan owners that like to move frequently.

The Outwell Hillcrest is a small easy to pitch Steel Poled Canopy with a convenient pack size for storing in smaller campervans like VW Transporters, Vito’s, Transits etc.

Like all Canopies the Outwell Hillcrest is only suited to vans with an awning rail or Wind-out canopy fitted. As the canopy need a secure fixing to the vehicle to be able to get any tension on it. The Outwell Hillcrest is fitted with a twin beading so will fit 6/7mm Awning channels like a standard awning rail or Reimo rail. The 4/5mm Bead is to allow fitting to the Awning channel on a wind out canopy like a Fiamma F45. By using both the 6/7mm bead and the 4/5mm bead together you can fix to a VW California rail (The rail fitted to VW California Vans as an attachment for the California wind out canopy.)

The Outwell Hillcrest can be used directly on your vehicle’s awning rail as a simple sun canopy or via a wind out canopy as a sun wall.

For motorhomes, vans and MPVs with attachment height of 175 cm-200 cm

The Outwell Hillcrest Tarp slides into the beading channel of wind out awnings or directly to the vehicle rails, if used on the side without the facility. It is secured by guylines and ground pegging. adding extra privacy and protection quickly and easily. It transforms a simple shelter quickly into practical living space with shade, protection and privacy for the interior when used on the door side. Used on the other side, it offers shade, especially useful for the van fridge, thus conserving battery life. Sturdy eyelets offer the option to extend it as a canopy with the upright poles (included) or it can be rolled up partially and secured by toggles whilst still offering protection from the elements. It can be used with the Fallcrest Side Panel Set for even more shade and privacy plus wind and rain protection.
