Kampa Dometic Sunshine AIR Pro VW

Our Opinion:-

Following the introduction and success of the caravan versions, Kampa Dometic have introduced a VW sized version of the Sunshine Canopy.

A very interesting design feature is an air beam that has been fitted running along roof of the canopy at the van/connection side. This is designed to help give more headroom at the sides of the canopy and to help give the canopy more of an apex along this point to help rain water run off. Made with Kampa's tried and tested Weathershield fabric and featuring a single inflation airframe for quick and easy inflation.

There is an option side wall pack available to give even more protection. The wall pack also has a nice feature in that the walls when attached to the canopy have a cut away/curved edge to allow your campers sliding door to open without catching on the side wall

This is a really well thought out canopy. It is not a cheep Canopy, but no other canopy on the market has the Apex feature to help stop rainwater pooling on the roof and give the extra headroom.

Like all Static awnings/Canopies you need to have an awning rail/Reimo rail or gutter, that can use a pole & Clamp, on your van to ensure a solid attachment point to the vehicle.

Although designated a VW sized canopy it will fit other van based conversion with an attachment height of 180-210cm
