Our Opinion:-

The Kampa Travel Pod Touring AIR is one of our favourite driveaway awnings especially as they are offering the awning is 2 versions, the Touring Air with a Polyester Flysheet and our choice the Touring AIR TC VW which is made from Polycotton. For people who have never experienced the difference of camping in a Cotton or Polycotton Tent look here for an overview of why it is worth the extra money. This listing is for the Polyester version.

The Travel Pod Touring AIR offers a campsite friendly side on configuration, so the awning sits alongside your vehicle, it does not stick out onto your pitch any more than smaller awnings. It is supplied as standard with a 4 berth inner tent and offers an attached front canopy giving shelter from the sun and rain and protecting the front door. With 3 doors, zip up blinds to all the windows and mesh screens on the main doors it is well specified.

The Travel Pod Touring Air will compete with the Vango Galli and Outdoor Revolution T4. There are pros and cons why to buy either of these models. It does offer more door options than the Galli and over both the alternatives it includes the 4 berth Inner tent as standard.

 Designed to sit alongside your camper van, the Kampa Touring AIR provides the maximum amount of space without extending beyond your pitch. Inside you’ll find a spacious living area, full-height windows, plenty of mesh ventilation and a large four berth inner tent, all supplied as standard. Available in a left-hand (L/H) and right-hand (R/H) configuration. 

 The large connecting tunnel can easily be attached to your vehicle and has a generously proportioned side door. This tunnel is capacious enough to be used for additional storage. The Touring AIR has a large front canopy, providing protection from both good and bad weather and allows the front door to be opened when it’s raining.

 Once inside you’ll find a huge living space that has plenty of windows, all with zip-up blinds, and three doors, all with mosquito mesh screens. A large four berth inner tent is supplied as standard that can be used for sleeping or even storage if required. The Touring AIR is available with the connecting tunnel in a left-hand (L/H) configuration for UK vehicles and right-hand (R/H) for European vehicles (This would include UK spec. VW California's).
