Our Opinion:-
The Trip VW is a Poled Awning. Being a Fibreglass Poled awning give the advantages of making a smaller pack size as well as better value. We do like poles awning especially in a VW size as storage is always at a premium in a smaller van conversion.
The fabric used for the flysheet is 68D Polyester This is no less waterproof than a higher denier fabric but helps to give the smaller pack size. Easy to erect tunnel design with a nice sized canopy over the front door offering protection from the rain and sun.
Like he majority of Kampa driveaway awnings the Trip VW features a clip-in groundsheet. This offers the advantage of being able to remove the groundsheet for easy cleaning, as well as allowing better ventilation to the awing to prevent condensation. Big PVC windows with privacy blinds make this a light, Airy awning
This Version although called VW is designed to fit all vehicles such as the Mazda Bongo and other van conversions which need an awning connection height between 180cm & 210 cm
