Outdoor Revolution has expanded the Cayman range with the introduction of the Cayman Cona (F/G). We think this is going to be a popular driveaway awing for them.

The Cayman Cona (F/G) is a nice compact awning for those who just want a small awning. Measuring 180 x 290cm + a 90cm tunnel section it should not be considered if you are looking to sleep in the awning as there is no bedroom option.

The Cayman Cona (F/G) s an easy to erect 2 hoop fibreglass poled tunnel style driveaway awning. The fabric used is Outdoor revolutions lightweight 120HDE polyester giving a compact lightweight awning package that is easy to store in your campervan. When travelling in a campervan you need to consider how much room an awning will take up. The 120HDE fabric is rated at 3000mm HH.

The groundsheet is removable and Velcro’s in when required. We prefer removable groundsheets over sewn in groundsheets as they provide more ventilation, which reduces the amount of condensation. Outdoor revolution is vey good at building in lots of ventilation to help reduce ventilation. You will always get condensation in any Polyester tent or Awning.

The front door rolls back to help open the awning and the windows let in plenty of light. The windows feature toggle up blinds for privacy. The Back door can be opened to the left or right or unzipped totally and stored in its own storage pocket at the base of the awning. The rear door also features 2 closable ventilation windows at the top of the door. There is also a door to one side of the tunnel.

We really like Outdoor Revolutions colourway this year which helps to make the Cona (F/G) look a lot more expensive. A nice NEW compact driveaway awning to suit VW sized campervans.

The Cayman Cona F/G is the ultimate small yet practical drive-away awning. The extremely manageable pack size means there is always room to pack it somewhere in the van, yet the enclosed usable space it provides is perfect for a table and chairs, and ample room to store your gear. Available in a lowline version only, specifically to fit lower height vehicles this awning goes up in minutes using just 2 robust fibreglass poles. The groundsheet is removable, and is fixed using a number of Velcro pads making it easy to take out should you wish, but combined with the perimeter draft seal system it fixes in snugly to give the impression of a fully sewn-in feature.

This model has been produced from a premium ultra-lightweight 120HDE fabric weave, which has been specifically engineered to deliver lightweight, compact and visually contemporary products that pack away neatly into the inclusive carry bag, making it perfect where weight or space limitations are of key consideration. This material incorporates a 3,000mm Hydrostatic Head and employs fully taped seams throughout, meaning it is exceptionally waterproof and rain will simply bead onto the surface, before rolling off. The sleek design lines & classic tri colour livery will coordinate & complement any campervan.

Three PVC windows allow for ample natural light and a superb vista of the outside world, all windows feature integral toggle-in curtains which can be rolled-back during the day or closed for complete privacy at night. Ventilation Points in the cowl door aid in reducing condensation, as well as helping to keep unwanted insects out, and a two-thirds Roll-Back front door allows for a remarkable feeling of space in fair weather.

The Cayman Cona F/G comes complete with a velcro-in PE groundsheet, steel ground pegs, and reflective guylines. There are also Velcro fixings for our optional LED lighting systems. A Stone Protection Footprint Groundsheet, and a hardwearing Duratread Carpet are also available for purchase, alongside an array of other convenient accessories.
