Outwell introduce the Active range of campervan awnings specifically designed around the VW Transporter.

The Active range is designed to have a modern lifestyle look. They are designed to have a small pack size and be quick and easy to pitch for the Campervan owners that like to move frequently. Being driveaway awnings they can be left freestanding if required. They feature Alloy Poles to help keep the weight down and a removable bathtub groundsheet allowing for easy cleaning. Lots of Big mesh Windows to keep the bugs out, Storm Straps and a dual beading to allow direct attachment to Standard awning rails, Reimo Rails as well as Wind Out canopies. Although this does limit the driveaway capability and we would recommend you connect using a Driveaway Kit.

The Outwell Lakecrest is the smaller of the two active driveaway awning, An easy to pitch Alloy Poled awning with a convenient pack size for storing in smaller campervans like VW Transporters, transits etc.

The Outwell Lakecrest features large, tinted windows and mesh panels to make it light and airy yet keep the bugs at bay.

Both The front and rear doors of the Outwell Lakecrest can be rolled back to use the awning as a canopy. Like all Outwell driveaway awnings there is a link access groundsheet for the tunnel section with a valence to close the gap under the van.

Please remember that like all driveaway awnings the tunnel section should only considered a sheltered entrance, as Unlike caravan awnings driveaway awnings have a front door and back door to create a weatherproof area.
