Kampa/Dometic

Kampa now part of the Dometic Group has revamped the Awnings with the biggest change being the separation into 2 distinct brands. The existing Kampa range of driveaway awnings. Touring Air available as the Touring Air as a Polyester Awning or the Touring Air TC (previously the Touring Air Classic) as a Polycotton Awing. Cross Air, Cross Air TG (Tailgate), Action Air, Action (Poled), Trip Air, Trip (Poled) and the bestselling Tailgater & Tailgater Air. All the Kampa range get a down spec in fabrics and features to make them more price competitive, so the fabric (apart from the Touring Air TC) gets downgraded from a 150D to a 68D. This does help give the awnings a smaller pack size which is an important consideration especially in van-based conversion s where space can be a premium. It will make no difference to the awning’s performance in rain.

As they integrate the Kampa and Dometic brands more and more products will just be under the Dometic brand Name.
