Used for extra stability or to attach your driveaway awning to your vehicle if you do not have a rail.

Manufacturer says:-

The storm straps can be used with all Vango driveaway awnings in addition to, or as replacements to those provided with Vango awnings.

The attachment straps can be used with Vango driveaway awnings to fit the awning to the vehicle if you do not have a rail. Simply attach the straps to the buckles on the tunnel of the awning, then throw over the vehicle and peg on the opposite side
